Nestling on the hillside a few miles outside Corwen & Bala, Ginny Ring Cottage offers comfortable holiday accommodation with the olde-worlde charm of a traditional stone built cottage.

With stunning views across the Llantysilio & Berwyn Ranges and Caer Drewyn Hill Fort there is ample opportunity for a wide range of outdoor pursuits or simply relaxing and enjoying the quieter pace of the countryside.

The bustling market town of Bala is within seven miles and provides a wide range of small shops and supermarket, pubs and restaurants offering good quality and often locally sourced produce.

However, Bala’s finest treasure must be the magnificent Bala Lake (Llyn Tegid) and water sports facilities, and the surrounding spectacle of the Snowdonia Mountains.

Ginny Ring Cottage is situated five miles from the town of Corwen, which offers a good range of shops. The larger and popular tourist attractions and shops of Bala and Llangollen are seven and fifteen miles away from Ginny Ring Cottage.

The cottage is situated close to the village of Maerdy, Conwy and is ½ a mile walk from the local pub ‘The Goat Inn’ with its programme of outdoor pursuits for the active enthusiast. (Please see Links page for further details of activities & sports packages they offer).

Nearest main-line train stations are Betws-Y-Coed (17 miles), Wrexham (24 miles), Chester (30 miles) with bus services to Corwen.
